FOUNDATIONS OF RESTORATIVE JUSTICE FACILITATION Our Level 1 Facilitator Training is a two-day, immersive online learning experience designed for people who want a strong foundation in restorative facilitation and conflict transformation. This training blends practical tools with reflection, embodied practice, and real-world scenarios, equipping participants to begin facilitating restorative conversations with greater clarity, confidence, and care. Participants will explore the core values and frameworks of restorative justice while developing the relational, ethical, and self-awareness skills essential to facilitation. This training emphasizes the use of self as a facilitator—recognizing that restorative work lives not only in techniques, but in presence, nervous system awareness, and ethical grounding. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of restorative processes, foundational tools for facilitation, and the readiness to observe and co-facilitate restorative conversations with support. This training is well-suited for educators, community leaders, organizational staff, mediators, clinicians, justice-impacted practitioners, and anyone seeking to deepen their capacity to work skillfully with conflict and harm. LEARNING OBJECTIVES By the end of this training, participants will be able to: Define the role and responsibilities of a facilitator in a restorative process Understand the core values and principles that guide restorative justice practice Identify the basic mechanics and phases of a restorative process, including preparation, facilitation, and aftercare Practice restorative language and questions that support accountability, dignity, and repair Apply nervous system awareness and emotional regul
